Arts Administration

Juventas new music ensemble is a non-profit organization with the mission to perform and promote music by young, living composers. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, the ensemble is a collective of several dozen musicians that form a wide array of instrumentations - both traditional and non-traditional. Since its founding in 2005, Juventas has performed the work of over 40 composers in exhilarating concerts that showcase the diversity of contemporary music. Responsibilities include: producing 10-12 concerts per season; selecting music for programming; creating and updating all paperwork including policies, bylaws, standing rules, etc.; administering all tasks executed by a minimum of 25 volunteers involved in the staff and musicians, managing a $5,000+ budget; PR/advertising

The Boston Cecilia is a 50-piece choir with a reputation for its period-instrument performances of baroque music, especially the oratorios of Handel and works of Bach. For this non-profit organization, responsibilities include: producing 3-4 concerts a year at such venues as New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall; managing a $200,000+ budget; creating and graphically designing programs and PR materials; negotiating contracts with venues and vendors

Boston Youth Moves (BYM) is a pre-professional dance training program for teens from the Greater Boston Area, and a non-profit organization with the aim to enhance dance students’ development in a career as a dancer, or in a dance- or arts-related field. Responsibilities included: supported Executive Director Jeannette Neill with any assistance necessary to administer the 2008 Swellegance Gala; graphically designed ads for the Swellegance Gala program

Responsibilities included: Managed and scheduled over 20 student employees; supervised all office operations; completed all bills and financial responsibilities of the Boston Conservatory Audio Visual Department; created a new database with excel to backup and store all recorded media; transferred media across a variety of formats in preparation for archives in the Boston Conservatory library
